Who processes your data?

CBX MEDICAL, a private limited liability company with its registered office at Boulevard General Michel 1E/2 B-6000 Charleroi, registered with the Banque Carrefour des Entreprises under number 0750.926.884, processes the data collected about you, and is responsible for the processing of personal data for any collection of data about you in connection with the services offered by CBX MEDICAL.

For what purposes do we collect and process your data?

CBX MEDICAL collects and processes your data for the purposes listed below and detailed below:

In the first instance, it is used for the purposes of customer relationship management and to enable us to better interact with our customers, to optimise the user experience or to respond to requests and possible complaints from our customers.

This processing includes in particular:

  • The possibility to create an account,
  • The management of your consents and authorisations concerning the use of your personal data, in particular for sending newsletters and commercial solicitations by electronic means,
  • To enable you to benefit from CBX MEDICAL's services, to order products and services, to track your orders and their billing, to subscribe to newsletters, etc.
  • the collection of your comments and opinions;
  • the management of communications and the monitoring of our exchanges, particularly in the context of any disputes (particularly via the customer service department accessible for example by telephone or by instant messaging such as chat. These exchanges may be recorded for the purpose of improving the service),
  • the management of your requests related to the exercise of your rights of access, rectification and opposition, which you benefit from in application of the regulations on personal data;
  • to manage the risk of fraudulent use of your data or of the services to which you have access via CBX MEDICAL; depending on the results of the checks carried out, CBX MEDICAL may take any measures that it considers useful to secure your data and our information systems used for the purposes of using CBX MEDICAL, as well as to defend its interests. If necessary, these measures may lead to the suspension of your access to CBX MEDICAL and to your online account
  • the management of product recalls initiated by suppliers or the sending of various related information or documents;
  • to draw up analyses or statistics in response to surveys or requests from public interest bodies, administrations, or administrative or judicial authorities (e.g. in the case of food risks),
  • to trace and administer the evidence that CBX MEDICAL must provide in application of its legal or regulatory obligations or for needs related to the management of litigation (e.g.: the necessary evidence concerning the exercise of your rights, evidence relating to your orders)
  • the management of any disputes, in particular relating to the recovery of sums you may owe us, and the management of payment incidents,
  • to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations applicable to CBX MEDICAL's business (e.g. to respond to requests from the tax authorities).


Your data may also be used to carry out operations relating to commercial prospecting, or studies intended to improve customer knowledge and the services that CBX MEDICAL can offer to its customers. Your data may thus be used, in compliance with any required authorisations that you may have given us:

  • to send you personalised or non-personalised promotional messages or advertisements, by post or electronically, including mobile notifications, depending on your profile,
  • to analyse your use of the services (in particular your online browsing and your reactions to emails), so that we can get to know you better, assess the interest in the Services offered and the messages we send you and provide you with offers, content and services adapted to your profile; these analyses will be carried out in compliance with any authorisations you may have given us, in particular in the case of the use of cookies or other tracers.

For commercial prospecting operations related to profiling and which are based on the consent of the person concerned by the processing, the latter may withdraw his or her consent at any time, it being understood that this will not call into question the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to this revocation.

Your data may be used for the performance of technical operations related to the processing of your personal data, for the purposes set out herein. This includes:

  • technical operations related to address rectification;
  • assigning a digital identifier linked to your data, so that we can interact with you through various digital communication media (websites and mobile applications, social networks) including sending you targeted advertisements,
  • technical, organisational or cyber security operations related to the detection of anomalies and the securing of your data and our information systems from which your data is processed.

Why is your personal data processed?

Your data may be processed for one or more of the following reasons:

  • because it is necessary to provide the services of CBX MEDICAL.
  • as part of any agreement you may have made, for example to enable us to communicate with you about our offers and products or those of third party advertisers;
  • in respect of the interests, freedoms and fundamental rights of persons registered with CBX MEDICAL because it is necessary to enable us or our partners to pursue our legitimate interests such as building customer loyalty, managing our relationship with our customers in the best possible way, getting to know them better and promoting our products and services to them or fighting fraud and defending ourselves in the event of litigation.

What data do we collect?

The data processed in the CBX MEDICAL framework are derived from :

  • your registration: data on the application form such as your name, first name, date of birth, contact details
  • the use of CBX MEDICAL services such as your purchases, whether made directly with CBX MEDICAL or via CBX MEDICAL: data enabling you to be identified and authenticated (connection logs, IP address), data relating to purchases, the places and times of orders and purchases, your browsing on the site, the dates and times of consultation of the site, location data;
  • sites and mobile applications published by entities outside CBX MEDICAL: information relating to navigation or advertisements sent to you;
  • social networks such as Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram; Indeed, data may be exchanged between CBX MEDICAL and social networks, for example when you are connected to the social network Facebook on your computer and you consult a page of the CBX MEDICAL site. Similarly, if you click on the Instagram button on a page of the CBX MEDICAL website, Instagram will collect this information. If you do not want such exchanges, we recommend that you log out of social networks before visiting the CBX MEDICAL website.
  • We may receive data about you from third parties, such as your postal or e-mail address, profile data, which will be included in our databases. These third parties will have collected your data fairly and obtained any required consent prior to any transmission to CBX MEDICAL.
  • We may have data from open data.


With the exception of open data, other data is not publicly available.
Data may be collected directly from you or through the use of CBX MEDICAL services or from other entities of the group or possibly from our partners or third parties.
The data collected is essential to enable CBX MEDICAL, its service providers and/or partners to provide the services offered via CBX MEDICAL, to enable us to get to know you better and to interact with you, to offer a facilitated relationship with the CBX MEDICAL ecosystem, or to send you, us or our partners, content adapted to your profile and to your interests

Who will be able to access your data?

In order to achieve the purposes described above and within the limits necessary for the pursuit of these purposes, your data may be transmitted to all or part of the following recipients

  • authorised persons from the relevant departments within CBX MEDICAL (e.g. departments in charge of marketing, research and analysis, consumer panels, customer service, legal affairs, accounting and tax affairs or IT and information systems security);
  • payment service providers and collection service providers for any amounts you may owe,
  • CBX MEDICAL's service providers and subcontractors (e.g. IT service providers, service providers in the advertising sector);
  • Advertisers or partner brands, but in this case they have no direct or indirect access to your data and only data linked to your profile, without it being possible to identify you directly or indirectly, may be used for these advertisers
  • administrative or judicial authorities where necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to enable us to defend our rights and interests.

Limiting the length of time your data is kept

The data collected about you will be kept for the period necessary to fulfil the above purposes, plus the period of legal prescription.
Thus, primarily, your account data (registration) will be kept for the duration of your membership. It may then be stored and processed for 3 years following your last contact with us, to enable us to send you commercial solicitations.
Your data may be stored for longer periods in accordance with specific legal obligations or in view of the applicable legal limitation periods. For example, data may be kept for :

  • 6 years for tax documents;
  • 10 years for accounting records ;
  • throughout the duration of the litigation and until all avenues of appeal have been exhausted.

Finally, in case of exercise of their rights by the data subjects, data relating to identity documents may be kept for the applicable legal limitation periods, i.e. for a maximum period of 3 years.

How is your data secured?

CBX MEDICAL shall take into account the nature of the personal data and the risks presented by the processing in order to put in place appropriate technical, physical and organisational measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of personal data and to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties.
CBX MEDICAL shall choose subcontractors or service providers that offer guarantees in terms of quality, security, reliability and resources to ensure the implementation of technical and organisational measures, including in terms of the security of processing. Subcontractors and service providers shall undertake to respect levels of confidentiality at least equal to those of CBX MEDICAL.

What are your rights?

In accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, you have the right to information, as well as the right to access, rectify and delete (except where necessary for the performance of our contract, or where we need to comply with our legal obligations or to establish or exercise our rights) data relating to you, as well as the right to define directives concerning the fate of your data after your death. Please note that under the right of access, CBX MEDICAL may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs for any additional copies of the data beyond the one provided to you.


You also have a right to obtain the restriction of processing and a right to the portability of data you may have provided, which will apply in certain cases. In addition, you may request to exercise your right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation to the processing of your personal data where the processing is based on the legitimate interests of the controller, including profiling. If you exercise such right to object, CBX MEDICAL shall cease the processing, except where there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests and rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may also object to any processing related to canvassing (including profiling related to such canvassing), or withdraw your consent at any time, for cases where you have been asked for it (the withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent)

CBX MEDICAL wishes to inform you that failure to provide or modify your data may have consequences in the processing of certain requests in the context of the execution of the services and that your requests under the exercise of your rights will be kept for follow-up purposes

Cookies may be set by CBX Medical's third-party social networks, especially when you share one of our pages on a social network.

These cookies may be deposited by us or our partners on your browser when you visit the CBX Medical site in order to offer you personalised advertising on the Site or a third party site and to carry out commercial prospecting operations.

But also to provide you with offers that may be of interest to you. Without this cookie, you would not receive these personalised offers on our website, in our newsletter and in your emails. This cookie comes from Google and will be deleted after a maximum of two years. Google does not share anonymous data with third parties.  

- Facebook: This cookie can see which products you are viewing. This allows us to show you relevant ads on Facebook. This cookie comes from Facebook and remains active for a maximum of 2 years. Without these cookies, you would not get personalized offers. Facebook does not share any information with third parties.  

Sharing the use of the terminal with others

If the Customer's terminal is used by several people and when the same terminal has several browsers, the Site cannot be sure that the services and advertisements intended for the terminal correspond to the Customer's own use of this terminal and not to that of another user of this terminal.
Sharing the use of the Customer's terminal with other people and configuring the parameters of his browser with regard to Cookies are a matter of his free choice and his responsibility. In other words, if you use your computer (for example) with other people, the browsing of the different users will be recorded and therefore tracked by cookies. Ideally, you should therefore delete cookies between sessions in this case. 

The length of retention

Cookies are kept for a maximum of thirteen (24) months from the time they are placed on your terminal. On expiry or if you have manually deleted your cookies, your consent will be required again.
